The HCLA Class Challenge

Every HCLA class claims to be the Best Class Ever – and the HCLA Class Challenge gives you the opportunity to prove it. Over the course of 24 hours, the classes compete to see who can raise the most money for HCLA. The winning class is awarded the HCLA Class Challenge Trophy and is recognized at our annual Holiday Luncheon. 

The real winner is HCLA and the community we serve. Our mission is to empower those who live and work in Hamilton County to positively impact our community. We rely on the generosity of donors and sponsors to advance that mission.

Here are a few examples of the ways the funds you raise can help support HCLA:

  • The HCLA Signature Program (The immersive, 10-month experience that HCLA is known for.)
    • $20 covers class day meals for one participant.
    • $500 sponsors a class day. Sponsors have the opportunity to welcome the class and to feature their logo on the class day agenda.
    • Program tuition is $2250. A donation of any amount may help provide financial support to a participant who may not otherwise be able to afford it. 
  • Expanded HCLA program offerings
    • In 2027, we will begin offering shorter workshops on important, timely community topics as well as leadership skills development. These workshops are meant to make the education we offer more widely available and to provide an opportunity for Signature Program alumni to refresh what they’ve learned. A donation of any amount will help us get these programs off the ground.
  • Alumni Engagement
    • Increased funds can help us expand the events and opportunities we offer to our alumni to connect and network with one another. 
  • Staffing
    • To support our expanded offerings and to best serve the county and our alumni, we have expanded our coordinator position to a full-time role. A donation of any amount helps support the HCLA infrastructure.
