UPCOMING EVENTS

May BackStage Passes
May 7, 2024 | 9:00 – 10:30 am | Fishers Arts & Municipal Complex

Join HCLA at the May BackStage Pass as we get an inside look at the new Fishers Arts & Municipal Complex. Hear from Senior Project Manager John Kilbury and Vice President of Business Development Ryan Berry from Meyer Najem along with Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness as they lead a tour of the new facility.

The new Fishers Arts & Municipal Complex will replace the original Fishers City Hall. The nineties building was dated, too small for current needs, and starting to sink in one corner of the building due to poor soils. The old facility was demolished, and staff was spread out in temporary workspaces to make way for the new “building for the people.”

The 18-month project includes a 41,000 square-foot, three-story building with the following features:

  • First floor: Fishers Arts Center operated in partnership with the Indianapolis Arts Center and Fishers Arts Center theater
  • Second and third floors: municipal staff offices
  • The facade features Indiana limestone, brick, and metal paneling with heavy usage of glass walls to showcase Fishers Arts Center activity and the inviting nature of the public building
  • Breezeway in the center to facilitate access to the NPD AMP lawn and stage.

The complex will open to the public in June.
