Description of Position:
The core responsibilities of a board member are to provide strategic oversight and decision-making to assure organizational viability and excellence. This includes but is not limited to oversight in the following areas; mission, finance, outcomes, legal compliance, integrity and ethics, and performance evaluation. A Board Member also acts as an ambassador for the Promising Futures mission by spreading the word into the community about its programs, outcomes and events.

Criteria for Candidate:
Attendance at the board meetings (6 per year) Attendance at the annual board retreat. Serve on a standing committee Actively participate at each board and committee meeting Make a personal contribution (time, talent, and money) each year
