Description of Position: The core responsibilities of a board member are to provide strategic oversight and decision-making to assure organizational viability and excellence. This includes but is not limited to oversight in the following areas; mission, finance, outcomes, legal compliance, integrity and ethics, and performance evaluation. A Board Member also acts as an ambassador for the Promising Futures mission by spreading the word into the community about its programs, outcomes and events.
